About the farm

PGR Urbanek Farm – a Private Family Farm

The founding of the farm

hectares planted with blueberries

In the beginning, the predominant crops on our farm were apples and pears, we also produced flowers in greenhouses. However, with the development of the farm and the establishment of the first blueberry plantations, blueberry became the major crop.

Over time, the decision to focus on blueberry cultivation proved to be the right one. Not only did blueberries become profitable, but they also brought many benefits to our farm. The growing demand for it in the food market, as well as its richness in nutrients, meant that blueberry production quickly became the key pillar of our business. Thanks to innovative cultivation techniques and the constant improvement of our farming processes, we have been able to achieve high quality fruit that is appreciated both at home and abroad.

Experience and passion for blueberry cultivation ensure the high quality of our fruit

The horticultural experience gained over the years and the commitment to blueberry cultivation make the fruit from our plantation healthy, tasty and of excellent quality. At the moment, 70 hectares of our farm are planted with blueberries. The diversity of varieties we grow guarantees access to fresh fruit throughout the season, from July to the end of September. Thanks to innovative cultivation techniques and strict quality control, our fruit is appreciated by customers both on the local market and abroad. Our priority is not only to ensure flavour and freshness, but also to provide top quality products that meet the expectations of even the most demanding consumers.

For us, our commitment to blueberry cultivation is not just a job, but also a passion that manifests itself at every stage of production. Our attention to detail, the knowledge gained through years of experience and the continuous improvement of farming techniques allow us to achieve excellent results. We introduce innovative solutions that not only increase the productivity of our plantations, but also minimise the impact on the environment. Our horticultural practices are based on the principles of sustainability, which allows us not only to produce healthy fruit, but also to protect nature for future generations.
